Job Description: NMP+ is inviting applications for the post of State Program Manager under GFATM Project “SAMAGRA”.
NMP+ is a community-based organisation formed in 2001 by people living with HIV (PLHIV) to improve the quality of life of people infected and affected by HIV. The organisation operates in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa, and Kerala through various partners and is affiliated with NCPI+.
Project Overview: “SAMAGRA” aims to improve survival and quality of life for PLHIV through Care & Support Centers (CSCs), providing technical and treatment outcome support across Maharashtra and Goa.
Responsibilities:
- Lead program implementation, budget planning, and delivery tracking.
- Monitor project progress, review reports, and provide feedback to SSRs.
- Develop capacity-building plans and deliver training to SSR partners.
- Support SSRs in budgeting, financial management, and internal control systems.
- Oversee implementation of IT tools like eMpower, CMIS, and telemedicine.
- Coordinate with stakeholders including SACS, DAPCU, and local NGOs.
- Document lessons learned, challenges, and impact assessments.
- Support advocacy strategies and local resource mobilization.
Person Specification:
- Master’s degree in social sciences, health, or development studies.
- 3–5 years of project management experience in health/development sectors.
- At least 2 years of experience in HIV Care Support Programmes.
- Experience working with government and PLHIV communities preferred.
- Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Maharashtra and Goa.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
